The Pre-K classrooms enjoyed a visit from Biomes on April 2. The children learned about local sea creatures and their habitats. Students had the opportunity to touch and hold different types of sea stars and sea urchins. They learned about the delicate ecological balance of the many bodies of water in our community. The highlight of our visit included watching a puffer fish expand his body to many times his size, then deflate back to his original size! The children created their own sea creature books to remember this special visit.
