The Cereal Project
Poor people might not have enough money. They might not have a job. They might not have a car. They might not have enough food. They would be hungry. They might not have a home. They might not have a bed to sleep in. They might not have warm clothes to wear in the cold. They might need shoes. They might not have glasses so they can read. Poor people might not be healthy. If they get sick, they might not be able to go to the doctors. Poor people might feel very sad.
The Cereal Project
Recently, Mrs. McNulty’s class collected boxes of pasta to be donated to The Rhode Island Center Assisting those in Need (RICAN) www.rhodeislandcan.org, formerly known as the St. Mary’s/St. James’ Food Pantry. We interviewed Diane Craven, a volunteer at the Center and learned of the need for boxes of cereal. We will be collecting boxes of cereal through May 15th. We hope to collect 100 boxes. Please help us reach our goal!
Thank you,
Mrs. McNulty’s K class
