Mission Statement
Monsignor Matthew F. Clarke Catholic Regional School is a Pre-K through Grade 8 Roman Catholic co-educational Diocesan school in the Diocese of Providence. Our mission is to serve God by providing a quality education in a faith filled caring environment. We believe in the dignity of the human person as a child of God. We strive to teach students to respect all people and apply the doctrines and values of the Catholic Church in their daily lives. We are committed to preparing students to be lifelong learners who contribute to their communities through service to others.
School Philosophy
Monsignor Matthew F. Clarke Catholic Regional School is a Roman Catholic co-educational school administered and staffed by qualified lay teachers. It is part of the Catholic Diocese of Providence. The school’s philosophy is based on the belief in the dignity of the human person as a child of God.
Both administration and faculty strive to teach students to respect the dignity of all people. The program of study, in addition to teaching cognitive and affective skills, imparts the doctrine and traditions of the Catholic Church.
Religious truths and values encompass every aspect of learning. The life-long adherence to these truths and values will enable our young men and women to effect social and economic change in the future and to serve their communities according to these truths and values.
Goals & Objectives
Monsignor Matthew F. Clarke Catholic Regional School is committed to providing every student with a quality, Catholic education. The school recognizes the challenges that students will face in the 21st century. Therefore, Monsignor Clarke School will continue to educate students through programs that place an emphasis on the spiritual, intellectual, physical, and aesthetic development of each student.
The school program will continue to emphasize the identification of the provision for individual student needs.
